Community Resources
Ontario County Medical Society member physicians believe
in and contribute to their profession and their community. It is through
these community services that the OCMS membership strives to improve
public knowledge concerning the many issues facing their profession.
When you need medical information, assistance with a health care issue
or finding a physician, call the Ontario County Medical Society at 315-787-4170.
Through its staff and active committees, the Ontario County Medical
Society provides community services that help to improve the lives of
Ontario County residents in many ways. Following is a partial list of
community services that OCMS provides:
Community Projects
OCMS conducts annual fund-raising activities and distributes

education programs throughout the year.
Speakers Bureau

and make the public aware of health care issues that often effect
us in today's ever-changing society. Our speakers are available to
speak to churches, schools, businesses, civic and other organizations
free of charge. Contact the OCMS office at 315-787-4170 to arrange
a speaker.
Scholarships
OCMS members contribute funds and award scholarships
to local students pursuing degrees in health care fields.
