Birken is the past president of the Ontario County Medical Society
and is their present Secretary-Treasurer. He is the past president
of the medical staff at Clifton Springs Hospital, current president
of the Clifton Springs Profession Organization, and a current
member of the Board of Trustees of the Clifton Springs Hospital.
In addition, he is the current Chairman of the Department of
Surgery at F. F. Thompson Hospital and Associate Clinical Professor
of Otolaryngology at University of Rochester and a adjunct faculty
member of Rochester Institute of Technology in the Physician
Assistants program.He is the recipient of the Academy of Otolaryngology
Distinguished Achievement Award. |
